  • Delaware Bay Lighthouse Keeper’s & Friends Association – an organization whose goal is to bring together former keeper’s, relatives, and others that care about the preservation of our historic Delaware Bay Lighthouses.   • Delaware River & Bay Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. – (D.R.B.L.H.F.) is a non-profit[501(c)(3)] organization whose mission is to serve as a catalyst for the preservation and restoration of our historic lighthouses on the Delaware River and Bay. The U.S. Coast Guard has granted the ordination a lease on the Harbor of Refuge of Lighthouse, located off Cape Henlopen, in Lewes, Delaware. The purpose of the lease is to allow for the restoration and preservation of the lighthouse., create and educational and interpretive museum of our regions maritime heritage and eventually to make the light accessible for tours to the general public. Membership categories are: Plank Owner, $35.00 a year which includes 4 issues of the organizations quarterly newsletter, The Bay Pilot, a membership card, a certificate suitable for framing, and any material or special reports published during the current year relating to the preservation efforts at the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse; Lifetime Plank Owner, which includes lifetime membership, the organizations quarterly newsletter, a special plank owners plaque commemorating your commitment and and material or special reports published during the current year relating to the preservation efforts at the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse.   • Friends of Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, c/o New England Lighthouse Foundation, P.O. Box 889, Wells, Maine, 04090, Phone 207-646-0515. The group is attempting to restore the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse in Rockland, Maine. It is estimated that it will cost $250,000 to restore the lighthouse. There will be no taxpayer money used to restore the lighthouse. All funds for restoration must come from private donations. Joining the Friends of Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse will automatically enroll you as a member of the New England Lighthouse Foundation also. Dues at Member ($20), Keeper ($50), Headkeeper ($100) and Commissioner ($500). Donations are tax deductible under 501(c3) of the IRS code.
  • Great Lakes Lighthouse Keeper’s Association (GLLKA), originally consisting of an informal gathering of retired lighthouse keepers, their families and friends, the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association (GLLKA) was officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1983, making it one of the nation’s longest-lived lighthouse preservation groups.
